Scanning for Scanner

Mood: Optimism
Watching: the computer screen....

Before I add my doodles, I want to get a scanner (duh). I'd be interested in any recommendations from the DA community. Here are the questions I have:

What scanner do you use (or are recommending)?
What was the price?
How long does it take to scan a piece?
What is the quality of the scanned image?
How long have you had it?
How large is it?
